AT-RISK YOUTH (AGES 14-18) ARE ENROLLED IN A WORK EXPERIENCE AND COMMUNITY SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM AND PAINT THE HOMES OF POOR FAMILIES, MAKE IMPROVEMENTS IN LOCAL PARKS, AND MAKE OTHER NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENTS. ENROLLEES ARE ALSO HELPED TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT INDIVIDUAL CAREER PLANS DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR.
