Describe the Organization's Mission:
Part 3 - Line 1
OUR MISSION IS TO ADVANCE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST THROUGH THE NEXT GENERATION BY ENGAGING THE LOST AND DISCIPLING BELIEVERS ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
CHRISTIAN DISCIPLESHIP - INCLUDES LARGE CORPORATE MEETING OF WORSHIP AND BIBLICAL TEACHING, SMALLER TOPICAL BIBLE STUDIES, WEEKEND RETREATS, ONE-ON-ONE MENTORING, AND FELLOWSHIP AMONG STUDENTS. DISCIPLESHIP IS THE CORE OF OUR MISSION - TEACHING PEOPLE TO LIVE LIKE JESUS CHRIST.
EQUIPPING CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP - TO EQUIP STUDENTS TO BECOME LEADERS IN THE CHURCH AND IN SOCIETY. WE ACCOMPLISH THIS BY PROVIDING TRAINING FOR STUDENTS IN THE AREAS OF EVANGELISM, MENTORING, GROUP DYNAMICS, AND COUNSELING. WE CULTIVATE A BIBLICAL WORLD VIEW BY TRAINING STUDENTS TO RESPECT THE BIBLE, ITS APPLICATION TO THEIR LIFE AND FAMILY.
OUTREACH AND SERVICE MINISTRY - EVANGELISM TAKES PLACE THROUGH INTENTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS, EVENTS THAT ATTRACT MANY PEOPLE BECAUSE OF AN INTERESTING DISCUSSION OR FUN ACTIVITY, AND BY RANDOMLY TALKING WITH STUDENTS ON CAMPUS. STUDENTS VOLUNTEER WITH LOCAL HUMAN SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS, HELP OUT NEEDY FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, AND SERVE ON SHORT- TERM MISSION TRIPS.
