CHRISTMAS WISH-WE HELPED 157 FAMILIES RECEIVE "WISHES" FOR CHRISTMAS. THESE ARE STRUGGLING FAMILIES WITH MINIMAL RESOURCES TO MAKE ENDS MEET, ESPECIALLY DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON. WE PROVIDE GIFT CARDS TO LOCAL GROCERY STORES, AFFORDABLE "BIG BOX" STORES, UTILITIES AND SIMILAR FORMS OF BASIC ASSISTANCE. CHRISTMAS WISH HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR TWENTY-FIVE YEARS.
COATS FOR KIDS-WE COLLECTED, CLEANED AND DISTRIBUTED 7,850 COATS TO DISADVANTAGED ADULTS, TEENS AND CHILDREN. PROVIDING COATS FOR CHILDREN IS OUR PRIMARY FOCUS, BUT WE ALSO HELP ADULTS AND TEENAGERS IN NEED. THESE ARE DISTRIBUTED IN EASTERN WASHINGTON AND NORTH IDAHO WITH THE HELP OF LOCAL COMMUNITY CENTERS.
EXTREME TEAM-WE REBUILD/REFURBISH/REMODEL NOT-FOR-PROFIT AND DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES' BUILDINGS, HOMES, PLAYFIELDS, KITCHENS, ETC. THAT HAVE FALLEN INTO DISREPAIR OR IN NEED OF UPGRADE. PROVIDING THIS WORK BY MARSHALLING VOLUNTEERS WITH THE PROPER SKILLS AND OBTAINING SUPPLIES AT OR NEAR COST ALLOW US TO HELP DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES UTILIZE THEIR HOMES BETTER AND NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS BETTER PROVIDE SERVICES TO THEIR COMMUNITIES. WE UNDERTOOK ONE "MAJOR" PROJECT IN 2021 AND TWO MINOR PROJECTS.
