THE EDUCATION CENTER CONDUCTS ACTIVITIES WITH EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS IN THREE MAIN AREAS: EDUCATION RESEARCH, PROGRAM EVALUATION, AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT. THE MISSION OF THE CENTER IS TO ADDRESS ISSUES THAT CONTRIBUTE TOWARD CLOSING THE EDUCATION GAP AMONG STUDENTS ATTENDING NEW MEXICO SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES.
