THE MISSION IS TO CREATE AN ATMOSPHERE OF COOPERATION AMONG BUSINESSES, PRIVATE LANDOWNERS, AND WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHERS, WHERE ALL PARTICIPANTS BENEFIT WHILE PROMOTING THE CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE AND HABITAT. THIS UNIQUE COLLABORATION PROMOTES AWARENESS OF THE NEED FOR CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THE WILDLIFE AND HABITAT IN THE NEWLY EXPANDED SIXTEEN COUNTIES SURROUNDING CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS. FUNDING IS MADE POSSIBLE BY INDIVIDUALS, FOUNDATIONS, AND BUSINESSES THAT WANT TO PRESERVE THE BEAUTY OF THEIR COMMUNITY THROUGH SPONSORSHIPS. THE PURPOSE OF THE COASTAL BEND WILDLIFE PHOTO CONTEST IS TO CREATE AN ATMOSPHERE OF COOPERATION AMONG BUSINESSES, PRIVATE LAND OWNERS, WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHERS AND THE COMMUNITY IN GENERAL TO PROMOTE AWARENESS OF THE NEED FOR CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE AND HABITAT IN 14 COUNTIES SURROUNDING CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS. THE PHOTO CONTEST SUPPORTS PROGRAMS THAT ARE AIMED AT BRINGING AWARENESS TO YOUTH ABOUT THE VASTNESS AND VARIETY OF

THE WILDLIFE PHOTO CONTEST PROMOTES CONSERVATION AND THE IMPORTANCE OF PROTECTING NATIVE WILDLIFE. THIS ACHIEVEMENT IS ACCOMPLISHED AND COMMUNICATED THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHS. THE PHOTOGRAPHS RESULTING FROM THE PHOTO CONTEST ARE THE BASIS OF A BOOK WHICH IS AVAILABLE FOR SALE AND EDUCATES THE PUBLIC OF THE UNIQUE AND BEAUTIFUL WILDLIFE OF OUR REGION.
