IN ORDER TO SERVE THEIR MISSION THE NEBRASKA GOLF ASSOCIATION AWARDS GRANTS, ADMINISTERS THE NEBRASKA GOLF FOUNDATION'S NEBRASKA KIDS ON COURSE PROGRAM TO CHILDREN FROM THE OMAHA BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS, AND ADMINISTERS GREAT GOLF EXPECTATIONS, WHICH IS A PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES A SELECT GROUP OF JUNIOR GOLFERS AGES 13 AND OVER THE AVENUE TO POTENTIALLY PLAY GOLF AT A COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP LEVEL. THE FOUNDATION ANNUALLY TEAMS UP WITH LOCAL YOUTH PROGRAMS TO CREATE A FULL SCHEDULE OF YOUTH GOLF CLINICS. THE NEBRASKA GOLF FOUNDATION AWARDS COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS IN THE UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA PROFESSIONAL GOLF MANAGEMENT PROGRAM AND ANNUALLY PRESENTS THE VIRGIL PARKER SCHOLARSHIP TO A GRADUATING MEMBER OF THE NEBRASKA JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION WHO CONSISTENTLY EMBODIES THE INHERENT IN GOLF.
