COMPREHENSIVE EMERGENCY SERVICES: PROVIDE SERVICES TO TWELVE KANSAS COUNTIES AND TWO MISSOURI COUNTIES AND IN REGIONS WHERE PARTNERS SERVE (WI, AZ, MN) IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS OF ASSISTANCE: RENTS AND MORTGAGES, UTILITIES: $16,691.47 EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT AND TRANSPORTATION: $3,057.14; FOOD, CLOTHING AND MEDICAL: $1,063.69 ACTIVITY'S OBJECTIVE IS TO REDUCE CRIME BY PROVIDING SERVICES FOR BASIC NEEDS AND EMPOWERMENT FOR HIGH RISK INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN NEED
LOW INCOME RESIDENT SERVICES AND HOUSING: THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES AFFORDABLE HOUSING THROUGH WINTER CENTER'S OWNERSHIP (LIMITED PARTNERSHIP-LP) OF AFFORDABLE AND RENT ASSISTED HOUSING COMPLEXES (INCOME AND REGULATION GUIDELINES APPLY). RESIDENT SERVICES AT SUCH PROPERTIES INCLUDE OUTREACH AND EVENTS FOR AT RISK INDIVIDUALS TO GAIN LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND ACTIVELY ENGAGE IN THE BETTERMENT OF THEIR COMMUNITY (INCLUDING YOUTH PROGRAMS, ADULT/SENIOR EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS, TENANT ASSOCIATIONS). WE SERVED OVER 150 PARTICIPANTS IN KS. WE ALSO OFFER RESIDENT EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS, MENTORING AND TRAINING. PROGRAM FUNDS INCLUDED IN OUTREACH.
RESTORATIVE JUSTICE SERVICES: RESTORATIVE JUSTICE IS A SYSTEMIC RESPONSE TO WRONG DOING THAT EMPHASIZES HEALING THE WOUNDS OF VICTIMS, OFFENDERS AND COMMUNITIES IMPACTED BY CRIMINAL BEHAVIORS. WE IDENTIFY AND TAKE STEPS TO REPAIR HARM, INVOLVING ALL STATEKHOLDERS AND TRANSFORM THE TRADITIONAL RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN COMMUNITIES AND THE VICTIM IN THE JUSTICE PROCESS. OVERALL WE MENTORED MORE THAN 20 CASES STATEWIDE. WE CONSIDER COMMUNITY OUTREACH RESTORATIVE BY BRIDGING VARIED POPULATIONS THROUGH SHARED CONNECTION AND EXPERIENCE. OUTREACH IS LISTED ON SCHEDULE O: OUTREACH (1,763.23) INCLUDES CONNECTING YOUTH, SENIORS, INTERFAITH, MULTICULTURAL POPULATIONS, CAREGIVERS, MENTORS AND LEARNERS.
