ADEQUATE WATER SUPPLY IS ESSENTIAL TO LIFE AND THE ECONOMIC HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF OUR COMMUNITIES. TO FULFILL OUR MISSION, TRI-STATE WATER HAS INVESTIGATED POTENTIAL SOURCES OF ADDITIONAL WATER SUPPLY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF OUR MEMBER COMMUNITIES AND IS TAKING ACTION TO FULFILL THE REQUIREMENTS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THOSE SUPPLIES. DEFINING AND SECURING ADDITIONAL SOURCES OF WATER - ENGAGED IN A SERIES OF RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY VIABLE ADDITIONAL WATER SUPPLY SOURCES AND SEEK ACCESS TO THOSE SOURCES STRENGTHENING THE COALITION - DEVELOPED A COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNICATIONS PLAN TO EDUCATE ALL STAKEHOLDERS ABOUT WATER SUPPLY ISSUES, AND TO FACILITATE THE SHARING OF INFORMATION ABOUT WATER ISSUES - DEVELOPED A BROAD MEMBERSHIP BASE THROUGHOUT THE REGIONAL FOOTPRINT OF THE ORGANIZATION EDUCATIONS ON WATER SUPPLY CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS - HOST AN ANNUAL FALL CONFERENCE ABOUT WATER SUPPLY ISSUES WITH MISSOURI STATE UNIVERSITY SINCE 2007
