Describe the Organization's Mission:
Part 3 - Line 1
HEAVEN'S FAMILY'S MISSION IS TO ADVANCE THE KINGDOM OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. WE DO THAT BY STRATEGICALLY LINKING KINGDOM NEEDS AND OPPORTUNITIES WITH RESOURCES THAT THE LORD HAS ENTRUSTED TO THOSE WHO LOVE HIM. THROUGH GOD-GIVEN PARTNERSHIPS, HEAVEN'S FAMILY INVESTS IN REACHING THE UNREACHED WITH THE GOSPEL, DISCIPLING CHRIST'S FOLLOWERS, AND SERVING THE SUFFERING- PARTICULARLY THOSE WHOM HE REFERRED TO AS THE "LEAST OF THESE" (MATT. 25:31-46; 28:19-20).
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
FIGHTING HUMAN TRAFFICKING & SLAVERY - ANOTHER PROGRAM THAT ATTRACTS SIGNIFICANT FUNDING, IS OUR HUMAN TRAFFICKING & SLAVERY MINISTRY. IN 2021, HEAVEN'S FAMILY ADDRESSED HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN SEVEN NATIONS. OUR 15 PARTNERS ADDRESSED THIS ISSUE THROUGH AT LEAST ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS; PREVENTION, INTERVENTION, RESCUE, AND REHABILITATION. POVERTY WAS A DRIVING FACTOR IN THE LIVES OF MOST OF THE INDIVIDUALS WHO WERE HELPED. EDUCATION, TRAUMA COUNSELING, VOCATIONAL TRAINING, ALONG WITH FOOD AND SHELTER BROUGHT HOPE AND HEALING TO VICTIMS WHO HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO THE HORRORS OF BEING SOLD OR EXPLOITED AGAINST THEIR WILL. OVER THE COURSE OF THE YEAR, WE HELPED 300 WOMEN AND CHILDREN AND PROVIDED OVER 140,000 MEALS AS PART OF OR OUTREACH AND PREVENTION PROGRAMS.
PROVIDING CLEAN WATER - IN 2021, HEAVEN'S FAMILY ADDRESSED THE NEEDS FOR SAFE WATER IN EIGHT NATIONS. WE ASSISTED OUR 12 MINISTRY PARTNERS ON THE GROUND IN THSE NATIONS TO MEET THIS NEED VIA ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS; DRILLING DEEP WELLS, CONSTRUCTION OF OR RENOVATION OF CISTERNS TO STORE CLEAN WATER, REPAIR OF ACCESS TO A PROTECTED SPRING, AND CONSTRUCTION OF COMMUNITY WATER DELIVERY KIOSKS AS PART OF DRILLED WELL PROJECTS. WE COMPLETED 39 CLEAN WATER PROJECTS TO DELIVER SAFE, CLEAN WATER TO 35 VILLAGES, 3 SCHOOLS, AND 1 HOSPITAL.
RELIEF, DEVELOPMENT, EVANGELISM AND DISCIPLESHIP - THROUGH OUR OTHER 17 PROGRAMS WORKING IN MORE THAN 40 NATIONS, IN 2021 WE CONTINUED TO MEET THE PRESSING NEEDS OF WIDOWS, REFUGEES, PRISONERS, THE PERSECUTED, THE DISABLED, THE ILL, VICTIMS OF NATURAL DISASTERS, THE SEXUALLY ABUSED, AND THE HUNGRY. WE ALSO SUPPORTED LOCAL MISSIONARIES AND WORKED TO "TEACH ALL NATIONS" BY CONDUCTING LEADERSHIP SEMINARS, PROVIDING BIBLES, AND OFFERING FREE BIBLICAL TEACHING THROUGH OUR DAVIDSERVANT.COM WEBSITE.
PROVIDING HUMANITARIAN AID; SUPPORTING MISSION TRIPS THAT PROVIDE AID AND GOSPEL OUTREACH; AND SUPPORT SERVICES THAT ARE NOT ABLE TO BE DIRECTLY ALLOCATED TO THE ABOVE LISTED PROGRAMS.
