ARISE AT MARSHALL FARMS CONDUCTS PROGRAMS FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES WHO ARE ABLE TO EXPERIENCE A VARIETY OF SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDING HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS, CART DRIVING, AND CARING FOR HORSES. ACTIVITIES BENEFIT FROM STRONG SUPPORT FROM FAMILIES, ENGAGED VOLUNTEERS, COMMUNITY FOUNDATIONS AND CORPORATIONS. SERVICES ARE OFFERED TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR INCLUDING AFTER-SCHOOL AND DURING SCHOOL VACATIONS. PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES WORK AND VOLUNTEER AT THE FARM ALONG WITH THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE DISABILITIES. BECAUSE OF THE INTEGRATED NATURE OF OUR PROGRAMMING, COMMUNITY AWARENESS OF DISABILITIES IS ENHANCED AND PROVIDES A MUCH-NEEDED SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES. 212 INDIVIDUALS SERVED DURING THE FISCAL YEAR.
