NYMPA ACTS AS AN AGENT FOR ITS MEMBERS IN BUYING BULK INCREMENTAL(NON-HYDRO) ELECTRIC POWER FOR RESALE TO ITS 35 MEMBER SYSTEMS. NYMPA ASSISTED THEIR MEMBERSHIP IN ACQUIRING POWER FOR THE MUNICIPALITIES CUSTOMERS AT THE BEST POSSIBLE RATES. THIS WAS A PERIOD OF RELATIVELY STABLE POWER COSTS AND CONTROLLABLE POWER SYSTEM DISRUPTION COSTS.
