THE MISSION OF HOLOCAUST RESOURCE CENTER IS TO TEACH THE LESSONS OF THE HOLOCAUST, REMEMBER THE SURVIVORS AND VICTIMS, AND PROMOTE SOCIAL JUSTICE, CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY, AND HUMAN RIGHTS THROUGH DOCUMENTATION AND PERSONAL TESTIMONY OF LOCAL HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS, EDUCATION AND WORKSHOPS.

TO FOSTER THE HISTORY AND EDUCATION OF THE GERMAN HOLOCAUST TO STUDENTS OF WESTERN NEW YORK AREA. WORKSHOPS WERE HELP FOR TEACHERS ON TERACHING THE HOLOCAUST; SPEAKERS OF SURVIVORS PRESENTED AT SCHOOLS; EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS WERE MADE AVAILABLE TO SCHOOLS, TEACHERS AND STUDENTS; TRIPS WERE MADE TO THE US HOLOCAUST MUSEUM IN WASHINGTON, DC; ARTS AND WRITING CONTESTS RELATING TO THE HOLOCAUST WERE CONDUCTED FOR STUDENTS; DISTANCE LEARNING CLASSES WERE CONDUCTED WITH SEVERAL LOCAL AND REMOTE AREA SCHOOL SYSTEMS IN WESTERN NEW YORK.
