IT IS THE MISSION OF FOLTS HOMES, WITH ROOTS FIRMLY PLANTED IN THE CHRISTIAN TRADITION, TO BE A CENTER OF EXCELLENCE AS A PREMIER PROVIDER OF NURSING, RESIDENTIAL, INDEPENDENT LIVING, AND COMMUNITY SERVICES.TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF THOSE WE TOUCH, FOLTS HOMES, SHALL PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL INDIVIDUALIZED QUALITY CARE WITH THE ASSURANCE OF DIGNITY, PRIDE, AND RESPECT FOR THE HUMAN SPIRIT.WE SET THE EXAMPLE FOR THE FUTURE, BY BEING PREPARED FOR THE CHALLENGES AND CHANGES THAT FACE US.FOLTS HOMES, PLEDGES A COMMITMENT OF PRIDE TO THOSE WE SERVE THROUGH PROFESSIONALISM, RESPONSIBILITY, INTEGRITY, DEDICATION, AND EXCELLENCE.

THE MAIN PROGRAM OF THE ORGANIZATION WAS RESIDENT CARE SERVICES. FOLTS HOMES, LOCATED AT 104 NORTH WASHINGTON STREET IN HERKIMER, OFFERED MULTIPLE LEVELS OF CARE FOR OLDER ADULTS - ALL ON ONE CAMPUS. AS THE NEEDS OF RESIDENTS CHANGE OVER TIME, THEY ARE ABLE TO MAKE A SMOOTH TRANSITION TO THE APPROPRIATE LEVEL OF CARE WITHIN THE FOLTS HOMES COMPLEX. THE FOLTS HEALTH CENTER SPECIALIZED IN CARE AND SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS DIAGNOSED WITH ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE AND DEMENTIA. FOLTS HOME OFFERED A MONTHLY SUPPORT GROUP FOR RESIDENT FAMILY MEMBERS AND ALL CARE GIVERS NEEDING ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT IN TREATING, CARING FOR, AND COPING WITH THE DEBILITATING DISEASE. RECOGNIZING THE IMPORTANCE OF MUSIC AS BOTH ENJOYMENT AND THERAPY FOR RESIDENTS, LIVE CONCERTS WERE SCHEDULED INSIDE DURING THE COLDER MONTHS AND OUTSIDE ON THE LAWN DURING THE EVENING SUMMER MONTHS. RESIDENTS OF THE COMMUNITY WERE WELCOME TO JOIN AS THE LIVELY MUSIC FILLED THE AIR FOR THE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES. THE RESIDENT CARE SERVICES PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDES PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL AND SPEECH THERAPY SERVICES.
