IN 2022-23 VERITAS TAUGHT 189 STUDENTS GRADES PREK3-8. VERITAS' ACADEMIC PROGRAMS PROVIDE A STRONG CORE OF MATH SCIENCE GRAMMAR AND LITERATURE AS WELL AS BIBLE HISTORY FINE ARTS AND PE. IN 2022-23 VERITAS STUDENTS COMPETED IN AREA AND REGIONAL COMPETITIONS IN CREATIVE WRITING MATH SCIENCE SPEECH SPELLING CHOIR BAND ART AND ATHLETICS EXCELLING ESPECIALLY IN CREATIVE WRITING AND SPEECH. VERITAS STUDENTS ALSO VOLUNTEER IN THE COMMUNITY AND IN THE DESTINATION CITIES OF THE CULTURAL EXPEDITIONS PROGRAM.
IN THE VERITAS CULTURAL EXPEDITIONS PROGRAM CEP STUDENTS EXPERIENCE THE WORLD OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM LEARNING FROM WIDELY VARYING EXPERIENCES SUCH AS VISITING HISTORICAL LANDMARKS MUSEUMS INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER LEARNING AND ATTENDING THEATRICAL AND MUSICAL PRODUCTIONS AS WELL AS BIKING AND HIKING TO DESTINATIONS OF NATURAL AND MAN-MADE BEAUTY. THE CEP DESTINATIONS INCLUDE AUSTIN TEXAS AND WASHINGTON DC THEIR STATE AND NATIONAL CAPITALS THE HISTORICALLY RICH SITES OF NEW YORK BOSTON AND PHILADELPHIA AND FINALLY ENGLAND.
THE VERITAS ATHLETIC PROGRAMS CONSIST OF VOLLEYBALL FLAG FOOTBALL BASKETBALL TRACK AND FIELD AND TENNIS. MIDDLE SCHOOLERS ARE OFFERED THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL SPORTS. ALL TEAMS COMPETE IN LEAGUE GROUPS AGAINST TEAMS OF SIMILAR SIZE.
