OASAS - PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS AND PROGRAMS FOR ALCOHOL AND DRUG RELATED PROBLEMS TO PROMOTE AWARENESS AND OFFER ASSISTANCE VIA HOT LINE, RESOURCE LIBRARIES, ETC. PRC - MID-HUDSON PREVENTION RESOURCE CENTER ASSISTS THE COMMUNITY COALITIONS ACROSS THE SEVEN-COUNTY MID-HUDSON REGION IN IMPLEMENTING THE STRATEGIC PREVENTION FRAMEWORK AND COMMUNITY MOBILIZATION EFFORTS. NAV - FAMILY NAVIGATOR SERVICES PROVIDES SUPPORT TO FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS STRUGGLING WITH A SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER. WE HELP NAVIGATE RESOURCES, GAIN USEFUL INFORMATION AND REDUCE BARRIERS FOR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS. THE FAMILY NAVIGATOR SERVICE AREA INCLUDES: ORANGE, ROCKLAND, PUTNAM AND SULLIVAN COUNTIES. PES - PEER ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST PROGRAM PROVIDES OUTREACH AND SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS STRUGGLING WITH A SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER. STOP DWI - WORKS TO INCREASE PUBLIC AWARENESS BY EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ON THE EFFECTS OF DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE. THIS PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDES SUPPORT TO VICTIMS AND THE FAMILIES OF VICTIMS OF DWI.


TASC - PROVIDES TREATMENT ALTERNATIVES BY OFFERING SERVICES TO STREET CRIME OFFENDERS WHO HAVE A HISTORY OF ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE, SERVES APPROXIMATELY 250 CLIENTS.


VARIOUS OTHER PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL AWARENESS REGARDING ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE, THEIR EFFECT ON SOCIETY, TRAINING, LITERATURE, AND EVIDENCE-BASED PREVENTION PROGRAMS TO THE LOCAL SCHOOLS.
