SELF DIRECTION SERVICES - AGENCY IS A FISCAL INTERMEDIARY AND ACTS AS THE EMPLOYER OF RECORD AND CO-EMPLOYER WITH CLIENTS, PROVIDING HUMAN RESOURCES AND PAYROLL SERVICES TO SELF-HIRED STAFF. IN CONNECTION WITH THIS, THE AGENCY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING THE SELF-DIRECTED CLIENTS' BUDGET AND ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS. 77 PARTICIPANTS WERE SERVICED IN 2021.
FAMILY SUPPORT - THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES IN HOME AND COMMUNITY SUPPORTS TO DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE PROGRAM ASSISTS THE DEVELOPEMENTALLY DISABLED INDIVIDUAL WITH COMMUNITY INTEGRATION FOR SOCIALIZATION AND RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AS WELL SKILL ACQUISITION THAT LEADS TO MORE INDPENDENCE. IT PROVIDES THE CARETAKER WITH A BREAK IN THE CARE OF THE INDIVIDUAL. IN ADDITION, IT PROVIDES THE CARETAKER WITH INFORMATION, EDUCATION, AND RESOURCES ON BETTER UNDERSTANDING THE INDIVIDUAL WITH A DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY. 34 PARTICIPANTS WERE SERVICED IN 2021.
SENIOR SERVICES - SCREENED, TRAINED AND PAID HOMEMAKERS PROVIDE LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING, MEAL PREPARATION, SHOPPING, LAUNDRY ASSISTANCE, TRANSPORTATION AND COMPANIONSHIP TO FRAIL AND ELDERLY INDIVIDUALS IN ORDER TO ASSIST THEM TO REMAIN IN THEIR HOMES. OTHER AGENCIES SUCH AS VISITING NURSES AND MEALS ON WHEELS, PROVIDE SUPPOERTING SERVICES. DEPENDING ON NEEDS, THIS SEVICE IS PROVIDED WEEKLY, BI-WEEKLY OR MORE THAN ONE DAY PER WEEK.65 PARTICIPANTS WERE SERVICED IN 2021.
