THE ICMA REMAINS COMMITTED TO SERVING THE NEEDS OF OUR MEMBERSHIP AND THE MEDIEVAL ART COMMUNITY AT LARGE. OUR JOURNAL GESTA IS PUBLISHED IN COLLABORATION WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO PRESS. THE ICMA GRANTS SEVERAL AWARDS TO STUDENTS: STUDENT TRAVEL GRANT, WHICH ALLOWS GRADUATE STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO CONDUCT DISSERTATION RESEARCH, AND THE STUDENT ESSAY PRIZE, WHICH AWARDS A GRADUATE STUDENT THE BEST ESSAYS (THREE PRIZES). FOR ESTABLISHED, CONTINGENT, AND EARLY CAREER SCHOLARS, WE OFFER THE ICMA-KRESS RESEARCH AND PUBLICATION GRANT, WHICH HELPS WITH COSTS INVOLVED IN PUBLISHING A BOOK OR RESEARCH NEEDED TO WRITE A BOOK, THE ICMA-KRESS EXHIBITION DEVELOPMENT GRANT, WHICH OFFERS MONEY TO A MUSEUM DEVELOPING AN EXHIBITION IN MEDIEVAL ART AND CAN BE USED TO TRAVEL RESEARCH OR PROGRAMMING DURING THE RUN OF AN EXHIBITION, AND THE ICMA ANNUAL BOOK PRIZE, AWARDING AN AUTHOR OR AUTHORS WITH THE BEST BOOK IN MEDIEVAL ART.ALL MEMBERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE ICMA-KRESS TRAVEL GRANTS, WHICH COVER CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEES (IF VIRTUAL) OR TRAVEL TO IN-PERSON CONFERENCES (AND PRESENTING IN ICMA-SPONSORED SESSIONS). THE COURTAULD LECTURES OFFERS INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE WITH A NORTH AMERICAN SCHOLAR PRESENTING A LECTURE AT THE COURTUALD INSTITUTE OF ART IN LONDON. OUR DIGITAL PROGRAMMING SERVES OUR WORLDWIDE AUDIENCE IN THIRTY COUNTRIES, WITH OFFERING OF DIGITAL APPROACHES TO MEDIEVAL ART, MINING THE COLLECTION, EXHIBITION STUDY OFFERINGS, AND OTHER BEHIND-THE-SCENES LOOK AT COLLECTIONS OR ADDRESSING QUESTIONS WITHIN MEDIEVAL ART SCHOLARSHIP. QUEER MEDIEVAL ART BROUGHT TOGETHER SCHOLARS TO ADDRESS QUEER STUDIES. OUR COORDINATOR FOR DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT IS INSTRUMENTAL IN ORGANIZING AND MANAGING EACH DIGITAL EVENT.
