RESEARCH - THE INSTITUTE SEEKS TO EXPAND THE FRONTIERS OF THE PROFESSIONAL BODY OF KNOWLEDGE IN PUBLIC RELATIONS. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED IN PART BY SPONSORSHIPS OF RESEARCH PROJECTS AND COMPETITIONS TO ENCOURAGE ACADEMIC RESEARCH. THE INSTITUTE ALSO SUPPORTS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES SUCH AS LECTURES, SEMINARS AND PROFESSIONAL MEETINGS.
EDUCATION - THE INSTITUTE SUPPORTS THE PR LEADERSHIP FORUM, THE ANNUAL DISTINGUISHED LECTURE AND DINNER, THE SUMMIT ON MEASUREMENT, THE INTERNATIONAL COLLOQUIUM, AND THE GRUNIG LECTURE. FORUMS, LECTURES AND SUMMITS ARE CONDUCTED TO HELP CURRENT PROFESSIONALS GET BETTER GROUNDED IN THE SCIENCE BENEATH THE ART OF PUBLIC RELATIONS.
