THE INTERNATIONAL CONTEMPORARY ENSEMBLE (ICEENSEMBLE) IS ANARTIST COLLECTIVE COMMITTED TO RESHAPING THE WAY MUSIC ISCREATED AND EXPERIENCED. PERFORMANCES OF NEWLY-COMPOSED MUSICTODAY OR IN THE IMMEDIATE PAST COMPRISED THE ORGANIZATION'SCONCERT ACTIVITIES ACROSS THE U.S AND IN EUROPE. THE GROUP'S COREACTIVITIES INCLUDE A COMMISSIONING PROGRAM TO WORKSHOP,DEVELOP, AND PERFORM THE WORKS OF EMERGING COMPOSERS;PERFORMANCES OF LIVING COMPOSERS AT RENOWNED VENUES INCLUDINGCOLUMBIA UNIVERSITY'S MILLER THEATRE AND NYU'S SKIRBALL CENTERFOR THE PERFORMING ARTS; UNIVERSITY RESIDENCIES AROUND THE US;AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS INCLUDING A PRE-PROFESSIONAL SUMMERINTENSIVE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NEW SCHOOL'S COLLEGE OFPERFORMING ARTS.
