CONFERENCES:ANNUAL MEETING: THE ANNUAL MEETING IS A SCIENTIFIC MEETING THAT FOCUSES ON THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS IN PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGIC RESEARCH AND RELATED METHODOLOGY. THE MEETING BRINGS TOGETHER ACADEMIC, GOVERNMENT AND INDUSTRY RESEARCHERS IN A SINGLE FORUM.PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY: STATE OF THE ART: THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE STATE-OF-THE-ART EDUCATION ON NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY FOR PSYCHIATRISTS AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS ALREADY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT DRUG TREATMENT OF PSYCHIATRIC DISORDERS.
ALCOHOL CLINICAL TRIALS INITIATIVE: THE MISSION OF THIS INITIATIVE IS TO EVALUATE AND ENHANCE KNOWLEDGE AND METHODS FOR MEDICATION CLINICAL TRIALS IN ALCOHOL DEPENDENCE.
CURRICULA: THE ASCP MODEL CURRICULUM FOR PSYCHIATRIC RESIDENCY PROGRAMS CONTAINS OVER 100 LECTURES AND IS UPDATED EVERY 2 YEARS. IT CONTAINS LECTURES FOR USE IN EACH OF THE THREE YEARS OF PSYCHIATRIC RESIDENCY AND WAYS TO EVALUATE RESIDENTS' LEARNING. ASCP ALSO PRODUCES ONE OTHER CURRICULUM FOR MEDICAL STUDENTS AND PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIANS THAT IS BASED ON THE MODEL CURRICULUM.
