BEYOND THE BELL, ALL DAY AT THE JA PROFESSIONAL AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM WAS OFFERED TO ALMOST 270 ELEMENTARY AGE STUDENTS IN THREE LOCAL SCHOOLS AND AT THE JCC. A MOST ATTRACTIVE FEATURE IS THAT MOST STUDENTS NEVER LEAVE THEIR SCHOOL TO PARTICIPATE IN THE AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO OPERATE THE PROGRAM IN THE SCHOOLS AS IT WAS NOT ALLOWED DUE TO COVID-19. A NEW PROGRAM WAS DEVELOPED AT THE JCC CALLED ALL DAY AT THE J WHICH PROVIDED A FULL DAY REMOTE SCHOOL EXPERIENCE FOR CHILDREN. THIS PROGRAM SERVED 75-80 CHILDREN A DAY. THIS PROGRAM ENDED IN MARCH 2021 WHEN THE SCHOOLS WENT BACK TO IN PERSON SCHOOL.

SOME YEARS THERE IS A KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM.DURING LAST YEAR, THE SCHOOL ENDED WITH AROUND 80 CHILDREN. IN SEPTEMBER OF THIS YEAR, THE SCHOOL BEGAN WITH 74 CHILDREN AND FINISHED THE YEAR WITH 90 CHILDREN.

ADDITIONALLY, THE SPORTS PROGRAM FOCUSED ON MINI SPORTS FOR PRESCHOOL AGED CHILDREN AND THOSE IN GRADES 1-2.
