THE SLOATSBURG PUBLIC LIBRARY IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING POPULAR MATERIALS, IN ALL FORMATS, TO ALL AGES. WE SEEK TO ENCOURAGE CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS TO DEVELOP A LIFELONG INTEREST IN READING AND LEARNING BY PROVIDING A VARIETY OF RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS. WE WILL FURTHER OFFER PROGRAMMING TO ALL AGES AND MAKE OUR FACILITIES AVAILABLE TO MEET PERCEIVED COMMUNITY INTERESTS AND TO STIMULATE INTEREST IN THE LIBRARY. OUR PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE TIMELY AND ACCURATE INFORMATION, TO OUR COMMUNITY RESIDENTS IN THEIR PURSUIT OF BUSINESS, EDUCATIONAL AND PERSONAL INTERESTS.THE ROLE OF THE SLOATSBURG LIBRARY IS TO CONTINUE TO ANTICIPATE THE NEEDS OF OUR COMMUNITY.
