15-BED SHELTER AND MEALS FOR HOMELESS WOMEN AS A TEMPORARY RESIDENCE WHILE THEY VAIL THEMSELVES OF THE SUPPORTIVE SERVICES GEARED TO ADDRESS THEIR NEED. THE STAFF ASSESSES THE HEALTH CARE NEEDS OF EACH WOMAN. A PSYCHIATRIC/MEDICAL OUTREACH TEAM VISITS WEEKLY TO PROVIDE DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATIONS. REFERRALS AND APPOINTMENTS ARE MADE FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING. THE DWELLING PLACE OFFERS DAILY BREAKFAST, TAKEOUT LUNCH, DINNERS AND A EVENING SNACK FOR EACH RESIDENT. THE RESIDENCE ALSO ADDRESSES THE SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF THE WOMEN WITH NO SET RELIGIOUS PRACTICE BUT THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPRESS A CREATIVE POWER IS PROVIDED THROUGH FAITH SHARING AND SERVICES.
