THE FRIENDS OF THE MOZARTINA IS THE 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT, CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATION THAT OWNS AND OPERATES THE 1885 TARRYTOWN MUSIC HALL, A BUILDING LISTED ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER FOR HISTORIC PLACES. OUR MISSION IS THREE-FOLD: TO PRESENT DIVERSE AND RELEVANT PROGRAMMING IN MUSIC, THEATER, DANCE AND FILM FOR THE ENRICHMENT OF THE TRI-STATE COMMUNITY; TO PROMOTE ARTS EDUCATION THROUGH CLASSES, PARTNERSHIPS, PERFORMING OPPORTUNITIES AND RESIDENCIES; AND TO PRESERVE AND RESTORE THE HISTORIC MUSIC HALL SO THAT IT MAY CONTINUE TO BE A VIBRANT PERFORMING ARTS CENTER AND ECONOMIC ENGINE FOR THE AREA.
