THE MPA SAUGHT TO FURTHER EXPAND UPON EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO HELP EDUCATORS AND MUSICIANS BETTER UNDERSTAND COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AS IT PERTAINS TO SHEET MUSIC. DURING THE 2021-2022 SEASON, THE MPA CONTINUED TO REMOVE ILLEGAL CONTENT FROM INTERNET SITES ON BEHALF OF MPA MEMBERS. THE MPA REMOVED MORE THAN 10,000 UNAUTHORIZED PIECES OF SHEET MUSIC ACROSS VARIOUS ONLINE PLATFORMS.
