NYSPOA WORKS WITH SIMILAR AGENCIES IN THE FIELD OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE WITH A GOAL TO INCREASE PUBLIC SAFETY, RAISING AWARENESS, AND PROMOTING PROFESSIONALISM IN THE FIELD OF COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS. CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS ARE HELD TO INCREASE SKILLS TO ACHIEVE THESE GOALS AND WORK WITH OTHER AGENCIES.
