Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
THIS YEAR THE CHILDREN'S STOREFRONT RESPONDED TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC BY QUICKLY ADAPTING OUR IN-PERSON CURRICULUM AND LAUNCHING A VIRTUAL PROGRAM BASED ON THE SAME PRINCIPLES. WE HAVE SERVED OVER 100 FAMILIES WITH BABIES AND TODDLERS UP TO AGE THREE. OUR VIRTUAL LEARN & PLAY PROGRAM PROVIDES A SAFE AND NURTURING COMMUNITY, OFFERING FACILITATIVE COACHING FROM EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT SPECIALISTS WHO ENGAGE FAMILIES WITH MUSIC, BOOKS, AND BRAIN-BUILDING ACTIVITIES. OUR SESSIONS HELP CAREGIVERS TO BUILD A STRONG FOUNDATION FOR THEIR CHILD'S LEARNING. COMMUNITY RESPONSE HAS BEEN OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE, WITH PARTICIPANTS SAYING THEY HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF HOW PLAYING WITH THEIR CHILD STRENGTHENS THEIR CHILD'S BRAIN AND SHARING THAT THEY WOULD RECOMMEND THE VIRTUAL LEARN & PLAY PROGRAM TO THEIR PEERS.
