PRIMARY LIBRARY SERVICE ROLESPROVIDING CURRENT TOPICS AND TITLES MAKING MATERIALS AVAILABLE IN A WIDE RANGE OF CURRENT FORMATS (INCLUDING PRINT, ELECTRONIC MEDIA, 24/7 DIGITAL RESOURCES AND AUDIO VISUAL) THAT WILL APPEAL TO INDIVIDUAL NEEDS FOR CULTURAL AND SOCIAL TRENDS AND THE DESIRE FOR RECREATIONAL EXPERIENCES WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY. WE PERFORM WEEKLY OUTREACH BY DELIVERING MATERIALS TO SENIOR LIVING CENTERS AND A LOCAL CONVENT.PROVIDING GENERAL INFORMATION MEETING THE NEEDS OF ITS CUSTOMERS FOR INFORMATION AND ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS ON A BROAD ARRAY OF TOPICS RELATED TO WORK, SCHOOL AND PERSONAL LIFE, ESPECIALLY CONSUMER INFORMATION. A NOTARY PUBLIC IS AVAILABLE TO THE PATRONS. PAID TUTORS ARE AVAILABLE 7 DAYS A WEEK THROUGH TUTOR.COM.SERVING AS A RESOURCE CENTER FOR LIFELONG LEARNING THE LIBRARY PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT, THIS INCLUDE VARIOUS PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS: PROGRAMS - THE LIBRARY PROVIDES A WIDE VARIETY OF PROGRAMS FOR ALL AGES: DROP- IN STORY FOR BIRTH TO WALKERS: WALKERS UNDER 3 AND PRE-SCHOOL 3S- 4S. THESE PROGRAMS ARE WEEKLY ALL YEAR LONG.OTHER PROGRAMS OFFERED TO CHILDREN INCLUDE: SCIENCE THEMED EVENTS, FAMILY STORY TIME, BINGO, TRIVIA NIGHTS, ART CLASSES, NATURE RELATED SESSIONS FEATURING ANIMALS, TAKE & MAKE CRAFTS, AND CONSTRUCTION CLUB. WE ALSO WORK WITH THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO PERFORM OUTREACH SERVICES TO ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN BOTH AT THE LIBRARY AND ONSITE AT THE SCHOOLS. TEEN PATRONS ARE OFFERED VARIOUS ART AND CRAFT RELATED PROGRAMS IN ADDITION TO BOOK CLUBS, COMMUNITY SERVICE OPTIONS, AND TAKE & MAKE CRAFTS.ADULT PROGRAMS: THE LIBRARY PROVIDES PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS WHICH RANGES FROM KNITTING, COMPUTER CLASSES, GARDEN PROGRAMS, LIBRARY EBOOKS, BASIC INTERNET, BINGO, COOKING CLASSES, ART INSTRUCTION, EXERCISE PROGRAMS, ESL CLASSES, FOREIGN LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION, AND BASIC INTERNET. WE ALSO OFFER TAKE & MAKE CRAFTS FOR ADULTS NOT LOOKING TO ATTEND A CLASS IN PERSON. ONLINE LEARNING PROGRAMS SUCH AS TUTOR.COM, ATOZ FOOD AND CREATIVEBUG.COM PROVIDE ONLINE INSTRUCTION 24/7.
