TO DEVELOP A UNION WHOSE FUNCTION SHALL BE THE COMPLETE ORGANIZATION OF ALL NEW YORK BRIDGE AND TUNNEL OFFICERS, WORKING TOGETHER TO ASSIST MEMBERS IN OBTAINING ADEQUATE COMPENSATION FOR THEIR LABOR AND INPROVEMENT OF CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH THEY WORK, TO PROMOTE SOCIAL WELFARE OF ITS MEMBERS, FOSTER ADVANCEMENT OF THE PROFESSIONAL SKILLS OF ITS MEMBERS, AND UPHOLD THE HIGHEST STANDARDS AND BEST TRADITIONS OF PEACE OFFICERS.
