THE ROSE MEMORIAL LIBRARY ASSOCIATION IS A NEW YORK STATE NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION CHARTED BY THE REGENTS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK AND FOUNDED IN 1949. IT IS ORGANIZED TO SERVE THE EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL, AND SOCIAL NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY OF THE TOWN OF STONY POINT. IT IS CONCERNED WITH PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR COMMUNITY CONNECTION AND GATHERING, AND PROVIDING MATERIALS AND PROGRAMMING FOR LITERACY, EDUCATIONAL, AND CULTURAL PURPOSES. THE ORGANIZATION CURRENTLY PROVIDES SERVICES FOR 14,813 RESIDENTS (FROM THE US CENSUS 2020). ROSE MEMORIAL LIBRARY IS GOVERNED BY AN ELECTED BOARD OF TRUSTEES. TO FOLLOW THROUGH ON THIS COMMITMENT ROSE MEMORIAL OFFERS:A POPULAR BROWSING COLLECTION FEATURING MATERIALS AVAILABLE IN A WIDE RANGE OF FORMATS INCLUDING PRINT, AV, AUDIO, AND DIGITAL.RESOURCES OFFERING INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTION ON A BROAD ARRAY OF TOPICS RELATED TO WORK, SCHOOL, ENRICHMENT, AND PERSONAL GROWTH.PROGRAMMING FOR ALL AGES.OCHILDHOOD AND FAMILY PROGRAMS FOCUS ON LITERACY, SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SKILLS, CREATIVITY AND PLAY-BASED LEARNING.
