ROCA CONTINUED ITS COMMITMENT TO ACCESSIBILITY THROUGH PARTNERING WITH THE GORDON CENTER FOR BLACK ART AND CULTURE AND THE CEJJES INSTITUTE TO PRESENT THE CHARLES WHITE: INFLUENCES EXHIBITION AND FREE RELATED PROGRAMS INCLUDING A FAMILY DAY @ ROCA. ROCA PROVIDED (10) FREE EXHIBITION BASED TOURS AND (2) FREE 4 SESSION ART PROGRAMS IN SPRING VALLEY, NY. OUR AFFORDABLE ART BAZAAR PROVIDED ARTISTS WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO SELL THEIR ART.
ON-SITE EVENTS AND PUBLIC PROGRAMS WERE REINSTATED WITH (9) EVENTS HELD IN THE EMERSON GALLERY IN 2021/2022. IN COLLABORATION WITH THE MLK CENTER, ROCA PRESENTED (2) FREE ART CLASSES SERVING 30 CHILDREN. OVER 182 ARTISTS EXHIBITED, PRESENTED, PERFORMED OR TAUGHT AT ROCA. OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE GORDON CENTER FOR BLACK ART & CULTURE BROUGHT NEW AUDIENCES TO ROCA THROUGH THE CHARLES WHITE: INFLUENCES EXHIBIT AND RELATED PROGRAMS FOR THE COMMUNITY.
