TERMINALLY ILL CANCER CARE INPATIENT - CALVARY SERVES ABOUT 23.7% OF ALL INDIVIDUALS WHO DIE OF CANCER IN THE NEW YORK METROPOLITAN AREA EACH YEAR. PATIENTS ARE REFERRED TO CALVARY FROM EVERY MAJOR HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER IN NEW YORK CITY. IN 2021, CALVARY CARED FOR MORE THAN 2,772 PATIENTS AND FAMILIES AS INPATIENT ADMISSIONS IN OUR 200-BED BRONX CAMPUS AND OUR 25-BED SATELLITE AT NYU LANGONE HOSPITAL IN BROOKLYN. THE AVERAGE LENGTH OF INPATIENT STAY IS 27.6 DAYS.
