THE ASSOCIATION OF MASTER PAINTERS AND DECORATORS OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK, INC. EXISTS TO REPRESENT THE INTERESTS OF EMPLOYERS MEMBERS IN FACILITATING EMPLOYER LABOR RELATIONS, GOVERNMENT RELATIONS, COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AND LABOR ARBITRATIONS.

THE ASSOCIATION OF MASTER PAINTERS AND DECORATORS OF THE CITY OF NEW YORK, INC. (THE ASSOCIATION) ACHIEVIED ITS MISSION BY REPRESENTING ITS MEMBERS IN ALL MATTERS THAT AFFECT THE INDUSTRY, INCLUDING THE AREAS OF LABOR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS, GOVERNMENT RELATIONS, ADVERTISING, TRAINING, AND PROMOTION OF SAFE WORK PRACTICES. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO NEGOTIATES COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS ON BEHALF OF ITS MEMBERS AND SERVES AS ARBITRATOR AT GRIEVANCE HEARINGS. THE ASSOCIATION COMMITS ITSELF TO BEING A STRONG VOICE AND AFFECTIVE ADVOCATE FOR THE NEEDS AND INTERESTS OF ITS MEMBERS. DURING 2021, THE ASSOCIATION HAD APPROXIMATLEY 40 CONTRACTED MEMBERS. ALL MEMBERS PAID ANNUAL DUES TO RECEIVE THESE BENEFITS.THE ASSOCIATION RECEIVED APPROXIMATELY 4,600 CALLS IN 2021 REGARDING GENERAL BUSINESS MATTERS SUCH AS EMPLOYER LABOR RELATIONS, GOVT RELATIONS, COLLECTIVE BARGAINING, LABOR ARBITRATION ISSUES AND INTERPRETATIONS OF CURRENT LEGISLATION.
