THE CENTER ATTRACTS FAMILIES FROM LONG ISLAND AS WELL AS FORM THE BOROUGHS OF NEW YORK CITY.2.ANNUAL LUNAR BANQUET FUNDRAISER WITH OVER 350 PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE. THE EVENT IS FILLED WITH PERFORMANCES BY THE CENTER'S LION TROUPE, THE CENTER'S DANCE CLASSES FROM THE PETITE CLASS TO THE ALUMNI CLASS,AND A BALLROOM DEMONSTRATION FROM THE CENTER'S BALLROOM CLASS. A JOURNAL IS PRINTED FOR EVERYONE AND OUTSTANDING RAFFLE PRIZES ARE OFFERED.3.SENIOR CLUB, SENIORS RANGE IN AGE FROM THOSE NEWLY RETIRED TO SEVERAL WHO ARE NENETY PLUS YEARS YOUNG. THEY MEET EVERY 2ND & 4TH WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH TO OFFER CONVERSATION, ADVICE, SONGS, SHARING LUNCH RECIPES AND SUPPORT EACH OTHER.
