HEALTH ACCESS NETWORK (HAN) IS A FEDERALLY QUALIFIED HEALTH CENTER (FQHC) THAT BEGAN OPERATIONS IN 2003 AND NOW HAS CLINIC LOCATIONS IN THE RURAL COMMUNITIES OF LINCOLN, MEDWAY, MILLINOCKET, WEST ENFIELD, AND LEE, MAINE. HAN'S SERVICE AREA INCLUDES 19 ORGANIZED TOWNS, PLUS NUMEROUS UNORGANIZED PLANTATIONS AND TERRITORIES IN NORTHERN CENTRAL MAINE WITH A TOTAL POPULATION OF ABOUT 23,000 PEOPLE. HAN PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE PRIMARY HEALTHCARE, DENTAL CARE, PODIATRY, AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO ALL RESIDENTS, REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY.
