IRA RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS - CONSIST IN THE OPERATION OF COMMUNITY RESIDENCES FOR HANDICAPPED PERSONS CAPABLE OF LIVING/FUNCTIONING IN THE COMMUNITY. IT PROVIDES SUCH INDIVIDUALS WITH A HOME AND SUPERVISION. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED HOMES FOR MENTALLY DISABLED CONSUMERS, TRAINING THEM TO BECOME MORE INDEPENDENT INDIVIDUALS IN THEIR HOMES, AND AT THE SAME TIME HELPING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY. THE ORGANIZATION SERVICED 103 IRA CLIENTS DURING FISCAL YEAR 2021.
DAY HABILITATION SERVICES - OFFERS TRAINING TO INDIVIDUALS WHO LIVE AT HOME AND WANT TO RECEIVE TRAINING IN THEIR HOMES TO PROMOTE INDEPENDENCE AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY. WORKING COLLABORATIVELY WITH THE INDIVIDUAL AND THEIR SELECTED TEAM OR CIRCLE, AREAS OF SUPPORT ARE IDENTIFIED WHERE A PERSON WANTS TO ENHANCE LEVELS OF INDEPENDENCE. AREAS TYPICALLY TARGETED INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: PERSONAL HYGIENE OR GROOMING, MONEY MANAGEMENT, USE OF PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION, FOOD PREPARATION AND SOCIAL SKILLS.
