THE ASSOCIATION IS RECOGNIZED AS THE FOREMOST ORGANIZATION SERVING PHYSICAL THERAPISTS, PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANTS, PHYSICAL THERAPY STUDENTS, AND IS THE FIRST CHOICE OF ITS' MEMBERS AS A RESOURCE AND CATALYST FOR DEVELOPING AND ADVANCING THE SUCCESS OF A PROFESSION THROUGH CONTINUING EDUCATION AND PUBLIC AWARENESS. THE ORGANIZATION CURRENTLY HAS APPROXIMATELY 6,800 MEMBERS.
