OVERVIEW: IN ITS 45TH SEASON, BARGEMUSIC CONTINUED TO PROVIDE PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR A DIVERSE GROUP OF MUSICIANS & PROVIDED A VERY SPECIAL EXPERIENCE FOR THE COMMUNITY & THOSE WHO VISITED NEW YORK CITY. ALL CONCERTS TOOK PLACE ON THE BARGE, A UNIQUE FLOATING CONCERT HALL, WITH A MAGNIFICENT VIEW OF THE MANHATTAN SKYLINE AND A SEATING CAPACITY OF 74. ALL THE PROGRAMS WERE CURATED BY EXECUTIVE/ARTISTIC DIRECTOR MARK PESKANOV. PESKANOV SOLICITED WORK SAMPLES, MET WITH ARTISTS AND COMMISSIONED NEW WORKS. DISCOUNTED TICKETS WERE OFFERED FOR SENIORS AND STUDENTS, ALONG WITH THE ADMISSION FREE FAMILY CONCERTS, WHICH MADE BARGEMUSIC'S CONCERTS ACCESSIBLE AND AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE.
