GENERAL PROGRAM - LOCATED IN JAMAICA, QUEENS, KING MANOR IS THE ONLY MUSEUM IN THE EXCEPTIONALLY DIVERSE COMMUNITY OF SOUTHEAST QUEENS, SERVING 650,000 PEOPLE FROM LONG-TIME QUEENS RESIDENTS TO NEWLY IMMIGRATED FAMILIES WE OFFER A VARIETY OF HANDS-ON, ENGAGING SCHOOL PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS RANGING FROM KINDERGARTEN ALL THE WAY TO POST-GRADUATE, WITH EACH PROGRAM ABLE TO BE SCALED TO GRADE LEVEL, PROVIDING AGE-APPROPRIATE CONTENT REGARDLESS OF WHICH PROGRAM THEY CHOOSE. KING MANOR ALSO OFFERS HANDS-ON HISTORY, A FREE, DROP-IN PROGRAM FEATURING HISTORY, ART, MUSIC, AND HANDS-ON FUN FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN AGES 3-12. DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, KING MANOR PROVIDED ONLINE RESOURCES FOR OUR PUBLIC. WE CREATED KING MANOR@HOME, WHICH IS A COLLECTION OF ONLINE RESOURCES, LESSONS AND ACTIVITIES, AND EDUCATION GAMES TO HELP FAMILIES, EDUCATORS, AND STUDENTS CONNECT WITH HISTORY AND COMMUNITY.
