IN 2021, UNDER THE UMBRELLA OF THE "INSTRUMENTAL ACCESS" PROGRAM, SEEDING LABS LEVERAGED ITS NETWORK OF OVER 200 SCIENTIFIC ENTITIES INCLUDING EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS, LIFE SCIENCE COMPANIES, UNIVERSITIES, AND INDIVIDUALS TO SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASE ACCESS TO RESOURCES FOR RESEARCHERS AND STUDENTS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES. WE SUPPORTED 16 INSTITUTIONS ACROSS 8 COUNTRIES WITH MORE THAN 40 TONS OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES - A VALUE OF OVER $1.3 MILLION OF DOLLARS. FOR MORE THAN A DECADE, RESEARCHERS AND STUDENTS AT MORE THAN 90 INSTITUTIONS ACROSS THE WORLD HAVE BENEFITED FROM INSTRUMENTAL ACCESS.SEEDING LABS' ONLINE TELESCIENCE PLATFORM (HTTPS://TELESCIENCE.SEEDINGLABS.ORG) CONNECTS SCIENTISTS AROUND THE WORLD, SHARING KNOWLEDGE THAT ACCELERATES STEM TEACHING AND RESEARCH.
