SUMMER FELLOWSHIP GRANTS TO FOUR YALE STUDENTS TO SERVE PAID SUMMER INTERNSHIPS WITH THREE HARTFORD AREA NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND ONE FEDERAL AGENCY. TOTAL $10,400.
FUNDS PAID DIRECTLY TO YALE UNIVERSITY FOR ITS GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND. THE UNIVERSITY PROVIDES NEED-BLIND SUPPORT TO ALL QUALIFYING STUDENTS, INCLUDING THOSE FROM THE HARTFORD AREA. YALE NAMES LOCAL STUDENTS AS "YALE CLUB AND SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION OF HARTFORD SCHOLARS"TOTAL $5,500.
EVENT EXPENSES - CLUB EVENTS AND MEETINGS. MOST EVENT EXPENSES ARE OFFSET BY REVENUES FROM THE EVENTS AND TRANSFERS FROM AN ENDOWED FUND.
