COLLECTIONS: THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY SECURES ITEMS OF HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE TO LITCHFIELD COUNTY AND IMPROVES THE QUALITY OF MUSEUM COLLECTIONS. APPROXIMATELY 5,700 PEOPLE VISITED THE MUSEUM, LAW SCHOOL, & TAPPING REEVE HOUSE.
EDUCATION: THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY PLANS, COORDINATES, AND GUIDES TOURS THROUGHOUT THE HISTORICAL AREAS OF LITCHFIELD COUNTY. THE SOCIETY ALSO PRESENTS LECTURES. APPROXIMATELY 7,200 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE TOURS AND SPECIAL EDUCATION EVENTS.
EXHIBITS: THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY GIVES PRESENTATIONS OF HISTORICAL ITEMS PERTAINING TO THE HISTORY OF LITCHFIELD. EXHIBITS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FOR VIEWING AND WERE VISITED BY APPROXIMATELY 5,700 PEOPLE.
