THE MISSION IS PREVENTING FAMILY HOMELESSNESS. THE ORGANIZATION CONSIDERS HOUSING ESSENTIAL TO FAMILY WELL-BEING AND WORKS PROACTIVELY TO RESOLVE A FAMILY'S HOUSING CRISIS AND PROVIDE A PATH TO STABLE HOUSING, THEREBY REDUCING THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN EXPERIENCING THE LASTING TRAUMA OF HOMELESSNESS. THE ORGANIZATION'S GEOGRAPHIC SERVICE AREA PRESENTLY INCLUDES NEW LONDON AND WINDHAM COUNTIES IN CONNECTICUT.
