THE MISSION OF GREENWICH YOUTH LACROSSE IS TO TEACH AND SUPPORT THE GAME OF LACROSSE IN AN ENVIRONMENT OF SATEFY, RESPECT AND FUN. THE PROGRAM HAS SEVERAL GOALS:TO PROVIDE THE PLAYERS WITH THE APPROPRIATE LEVEL OF COACHING INSTRUCTION, TO BUILD A PLAYERS CONFIDENCE IN LEARNING LACROSSE SKILLS, TO DEVELOP A SENSE OF TEAMWORK, FAIR PLAY, AND RESPECT FOR RULES, OPPONENTS, OFFICIALS, TEAMMATES AND SELF. IN ADDITION, THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO DEVELOP CHARACTER VALUES THAT WILL BENEFIT TODAYS PLAYERS IN LATER YEARS AND IN OTHER ENDEAVORS. PLAYERS WILL LEARN THE VALUE OF TEAMWORK, DETERMINATION AND COMMITTMENT AND HAVE A GREAT TIME PLAYING LACROSSE.
