OUR PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:1. WE PUBLISHED A BROCHURE ON WHY PASSING BOTTLE BILLS IN ALL 50 STATES IS SO IMPORTANT. THIS BROCHURE IS BEING USED TO GET ADDITIONAL STATES TO ADOPT BOTTLE BILLS. WE SENT OUT A NATIONAL PRESS RELEASE ON THIS EFFORT AND EHHI WAS INTERVIEWED ON RADIO.2. WE WROTE A BROCHURE ON THE DANGERS OF ROUNDUP AND WROTE A PRESS RELEASE ON THE BROCHURE'S INTRODUCTION.3. WORKED WITH THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT TO TRY TO GET ROUNDUP A "RESTRICTED USE" PESTICIDE IN CONNECTICUT.4. WE CONTINUED TO WORK ON THE DANGERS OF SYNTHETIC TURF AND HELPED TOWNS AND STATES ACROSS THE COUNTRY TRY TO GET NATURAL GRASS FIELDS INSTALLED INSTEAD OF SYNTHETIC TURF.5. WE KEPT UP OUR WEBSITE AND OUR EJOURNAL WHERE WE GET OVER 3,000 VISITORS A MONTH WHO ACCESS OUR RESEARCH AND INFORMATION.6. WE CONTINUED TO CONVINCE THE CT DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO SEND OUT A DIRECTIVE TO ALL CONNECTICUT LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENTS TO SHUT DOWN RECREATIONAL WOODBURNING THAT NEGATIVELY AFFECTS A NEIGHBOR'S HEALTH. THIS REMAINS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AND CT IS ONE OF THE FEW STATES THAT HAS THIS.7. WE AGAIN WORKED TO GET AN EXTENDED PRODUCER RESPONSIBILITY BILL PASSED THAT WOULD REDUCE PLASTIC PACKAGING. IT ONCE AGAIN DID NOT PASS BUT WE WILL CONTINUE TO WORK ON THIS IMPORTANT EFFORT AS IT DOES NEED TO GET ENACTED.8.
