NYASP SERVES CHILDREN, THEIR FAMILIES, AND THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY BY PROMOTING PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING, EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION AND SENSITIVITY TO DIVERSITY THROUGH BEST PRACTICES IN SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY.

TO PUBLISH AND DISTRIBUTE A QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER AND PAMPHLET THAT PROVIDES INFORMATION AND TECHNIQUES THAT CAN BE USED BY SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGISTS TO HELP CHILDREN EXCEL IN SCHOOL.
TO CONTINUOUSLY MONITOR LEGISLATION THAT IS ONGOING AND MAY HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE ABILITY OF SCHOOLS TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT TO SCHOOL CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. A LOBBYIST IS RETAINED TO TRACK LEGISLATIVE BILLS AND VISIT LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEES.
