CCOA CREATES, PUBLISHES AND DISTRIBUTES FREE 75,000 CAMPGROUND DIRECTORIES LISTING BOTH STATE AND PRIVATE CAMPGROUNDS AS WELL AS SUPPLIERS OF CAMPGROUND EQUIPMENT. INDIVIDUAL DIRECTORIES ARE MAILED FREE OF CHARGE, ALSO DISTRIBUTED AT RV SHOWS, CONNECTICUT VISITORS CENTERS, TOURISM OFFICES AND OTHER LOCATIONS. CCOA IS A MEMBER OF BOTH NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF RV PARKS AND CAMPGROUND (ARVC) AND THE NORTHEAST CAMPGROUND ASSOCIATION (NCA). DUES ARE PAID FOR EACH GROUP FOR EACH CCOA MEMBER. THEY PROVIDE US CONFERENCES, TRAINING SEMINARS, DISCOUNT PROGRAMS AND OTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO CCOA MEMBERS. CCOA MEMBERSHIP PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR EACH MEMBER TO ATTEND TRAINING AT NATIONAL/REGIONAL CONFERENCES. THERE IS ALSO A NATIONAL CERTIFICATION SCHOOL TO TRAIN MANAGERS HOW TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A CAMPGROUND.
