GOODWILL OF WESTERN AND NORTHERN CT STRENGTHENS COMMUNITIES BY ELIMINATING BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT AND MAXIMIZING THE INDEPENDENCE OF ALL PEOPLE SERVED. WITH A WORKFORCE OF 857 EMPLOYEES, GWNC SERVED 4,251 CONNECTICUT RESIDENTS IN 2021. 3,276 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED CAREER SERVICES FROM OUR SIX FREE PUBLIC CAREER CENTERS. 758 INDIVIDUALS FOUND MEANINGFUL WORK AND 975 PARTICIPANTS WITH ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURIES, INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES, DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, MENTAL ILLNESS OR OTHER PHYSICAL CHALLENGES INTEGRATED INTO THE COMMUNITY, GAINED EMPLOYMENT, OR DEVELOPED SKILLS FOR GREATER INDEPENDENCE THROUGH GOODWILL'S PROGRAMS.
