LEWY BODY DEMENTIA ASSOCIATION, INC. (LBDA) PROVIDES INFORMATION ON LEWY BODY DEMENTIAS TO CAREGIVERS, FAMILIES, PROFESSIONALS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC, AND ENCOURAGES SCIENTIFIC ADVANCEMENTS. LBDA PROGRAMS INCLUDE A NATIONAL SUPPORT GROUP NETWORK, EXTENSIVE WEBSITE AND ONLINE COMMUNITIES, EMAIL AND TOLL FREE TELEPHONE HELP LINES, AND INFORMATION PACKETS AND BROCHURES. LBDA REPRESENTATIVES ATTEND SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCES, HOST EXHIBITS AT NATIONAL MEDICAL CONFERENCES, AND SUPPORT THE LBDA SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY COUNCIL. THROUGH LBDA'S RESEARCH CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE GRANT PROGRAM, LBDA HELPS FUND ACADEMIC RESEARCH CENTERS DELIVERING CLINICAL CARE, OUTREACH, AND EDUCATION OF PUBLIC AND PROFESSIONALS.
