ORGANIZE, EDUCATE AND EMPOWER WORKERS AND OUR COMMUNITIES IN THE FIGHT FOR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC JUSTICE. WE BELIEVE THAT BY WORKING TOGETHER WITH UNIONS, FARMERS COMMUNITY GROUPS, SMALL BUSINESS, AND FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATIONS WE WILL CREATE SOLUTIONS AND POSITIVE CHANGE.

WORKERS RIGHTS EDUCATION: PROVIDING EDUCATION AND COUNSELING TO LAID-OFF AND LOW-INCOME WORKERS IN EXERCISING THEIR RIGHTS IN THE WORKPLACE AND ACCESSING UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE AND OTHER AID PROGRAMS. ENGAGING WORKERS IN PUBLIC POLICY: WORKING WITH COMMUNITY LEADERS AND WORKERS' ORGANIZATIONS TO IDENTIFY, EDUCATE AROUND AND ADVOCATE FOR POLICIES THAT IMPROVE WORKER'S RIGHTS AND CONDITIONS FOR LOW-INCOME WORKERS.


LOCAL, HEALTHY FOOD: PROVING ACCESS TO AND INCREASING MARKETS FOR LOCALLY- GROWN, HEALTHY FOOD THROUGH A FARM SHARE PROGRAM, EDUCATION AND DIRECT ASSISTANCE TO LOW-INCOME FAMILIES IN ACCESSING LOCAL FOOD.


ORGANIZED VOLUNTEERS TO SUPPORT LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES WHO SAW INCREASE IN CUSTOMERS AND LOSS OF AT RISK VOLUNTEERS. RAISED FUNDS TO PURCHASE INDIVIUDAL MEALS FROM LOCAL RESTAURANTS, AND DONATED THE MEALS TO FRONT LINE WORKERS, INCLUDING BUS DRIVERS AND HEALTHCARE WORKERS; ALSO TO SENIORS AND LOW-INCOME COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
